After the Rasuwa Disaster, Rabi Lamichhane Says Nepal Must Turn Its Pain Into a Global Fight for Climate Justice

RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane has urged Nepal to take the Rasuwa flood beyond rescue and reconstruction and turn the disaster into a stronger international campaign for climate justice, grant-based climate finance and protection of the Himalayas. Speaking in Parliament, he proposed coordinated government and parliamentary diplomacy, international recognition of Himalayan climate risks, stronger scientific monitoring and a formal effort to seek support from countries and global climate mechanisms.
